Beckum
Tasia Murray has purchased Grand Prix horse, Beckum, in the hopes of making the Junior dressage team next year. Then she would like to move on to the Young Rider team and eventually show in the Under 25 Grand Prix division. Beckum can do it all!

2010 Westphalian gelding by Furst Romancier; 17 hh; Ficcochino is a long legged beauty with both elegance and a refined look that anyone would be proud to enter the ring with.
Ferrero
Ferrero has found a home with Megan Glynn who has returned to HHF to purchase her next horse. Megan was looking for a talented young horse to complement her current horse from HHF, advanced horse Tyto.
Despereaux
Our wonderful Despereaux has found a fabulous new home! He will winter in Florida and live the rest of the year in Vermont. He has a loving, caring new family. His owner, Karen, will have the time of her life on this very sweet, very special horse. Congratulations to Karen!
Welrito
This beautiful Dutch gelding will be returning to the jumper world, as he was in Europe. His new owner, a junior, has already fallen madly in love with this sweet horse and he will carry her safely and competently into the jumper ring, with lots of ribbons likely in the future.
Floressence
“Floressence” has found a new home in New Jersey with his owner Laurie Leifer; Laurie has competed up to the Grand Prix level in dressage and is looking forward to fulfilling many more dreams with her wonderful new partner; Floressence competed successfully at 3 rd level just prior to moving to New Jersey
Razzo
Razzo made a move to Ottawa, Ontario to be with a junior/young rider; this horse would make any rider proud with his outstanding paces and kind, gentle nature; he was truly a joy to work with and a loving horse to be around.
Millgate Aryanna
“Brownie” has found a new home in Long Island, New York with first time horse owner Maria Staritsky-Lee; Maria trains with Raul de Leon. Brownie scored many times in the high 70’s at training level while at Horse Haven Farm
Unico
Success while at Horse Haven Farm included a 77.5% at training level from British FEI judge James McKenzie. Unico was invited to a symposium with Klaus Balkenhol and Debbie McDonald. He represented the ideal trainingof the 4 yr old horse and this resulted in mention of Unico in “Dressage Today”.
“Lemon Girl” (Nikolasmehl)
Nikolas is a 15 year old Hannoverian mare shown Prix St George and Intermediare I by Lori Bell; she was sold to an F.E.I. Junior rider hoping to learn the finer points of dressage on this wonderful school master. .
Fashion
Fashion is a lovely 16.2 hh bay gelding with four white socks. He was imported from Germany and is a Westphalian by Friedenstraum. He has been winning classes regularly on the ‘A’ circuit as a hunter for his new owner. The coach, Mark Hayes, is very pleased with his student’s acquisition.
Lorentin’s Stern
This lovely, multi-talented Holsteiner gelding has a Grand Prix dressage father and fabulous jumper lines on his mother’s side (Landgraff) and so is off to the eventing world with the folks at Dreamcrest Farm (Ian Roberts and Kelly Plitz)
Fallido
Fallido is a Westphalian gelding by Fabriano with a temperament just like his sire’s (wonderful) and the most adorable face imaginable. He is living in the U.S. and showing ‘A’ circuit hunter.
Ravel
This little cutie was imported from Belgium and is a 16.1 hh KWPN by Amsterdam. He is trained by adult amateur rider Linda Kaminsky and her coach Joanne Mintz. In 2004 he competed at 2nd level with consistent scores of high 60’s and low 70’s. Rarely did he leave a show without his Championship title.
Sundance Kid
This stunning black, KWPN gelding with four white socks was nick named ‘Romeo’ because of his handsome looks and loving manner. He is currently owned by adult amateur Karyn Pope and at time of purchase was being coached by Canadian Equestrian Team rider Nancy McLaughlin.
Odin
Odin was sold to an young rider who left for university after enjoying him for a few yrs. He was then purchased by Grand Prix rider, Rebecca Schoenhardt and scored 69% at 2nd level. Once schooled to 3rd level, Odin was sold on to an adult amateur.
Whitney
Whitney was purchased by an adult amateur in New York state and has since moved to BC to be trained by advanced rider Lorraine Chappel. Lorraine’s coach, Olympic bronze medalist Gina Smith, has nothing but praise for this, our first imported horse sold here at Horse Haven Farm.
Fleurina
This super Florestan mare is owned and shown by a young rider, Jaimie Holland, a student of Olympian Tom Dvorak. Their many successes include being medal winners at the North American Young Rider Championships and they represented Canada at the World Young Rider Championships in Germany.
Tyto
Tyto is a stunning grey Swedish Warmblood gelding that was snapped up very quickly by a super young rider, Megan Glynn, student of 2 time Olympian, Jacqueline Brooks. They have formed a wonderful bond and have begun their first year of competition at Prix St George in 2012.
K2
K2 was purchased as a hunter prospect but did not excel in this discipline. He preferred the carriage of a dressage horse and did his flying changes clean with tons of suspension! He wanted to be a dressage horse. Coach Megan Lane encouraged student Megan Shea to try him and the pair was a match!
Garson M
This very sweet, loving gelding has found his perfect match. He is a sensitive boy and needed someone who understood that side of him. He has found that person in Janice Goll who will no doubt bring out the very generous nature of this lovely boy and have a great time together doing dressage.
Sunset M
Sunny, half brother of Garson, went back to the jumper world where he had exceptional talent. Although he was a nice dressage horse, his true passion was for jumping and he did that very, very well.
Guiness
This handsome gelding is athletic enough for any discipline; and happy to do whatever your heart desires; he is always willing and keen to please; 3 super paces. He has entered the hunter world and is excelling there.
Royal Rubin
Royal Rubin has found a wonderful new home with a young woman who absolutely loves him. She was looking for a horse to take her into the Grand Prix ring and has found her horse in our talented “Rudy”. She currently has him in full training with an excellent trainer and so has set themselves up for much success in the future.
